o Glass Blowing – This method involves taking a piece of molten glass and inflating it to make a bubble design. Either a blow tube or a blowpipe is used to shape the hand-blown glass into decorative art pieces.

o Glass Beadmaking – Beadmaking is the oldest form of art glass made dating back centuries and it still makes quite an impression in today’s art.
o Stained Glass – When stained glass art was first introduced it was primarily used as decorative windows for cathedrals and churches. However, modern stained glass art can now be found in sculptures and three-dimensional art pieces.
o Glass Casting – Glass casting requires the use of a mould to shape the art piece into the desired shape. Today there are two processes that can be used for glass casting and they are “kiln casting” or “sand casting”.
o Glass Fusing – This method requires the glass to be “fired” which is the process of heating the glass in a “kiln” until it reaches temperatures between 1100 degrees Fahrenheit to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Glass Fusion
o Glass Sculptures – Glass sculptures are elegant and gorgeous pieces of art that are created by talented artist. It involves the process of cutting or fusing the glass into the desired design. Glue, metal or wood may be used in the construction of the art piece.
This type of art ranges in a variety of prices that can cost up to thousands of dollars depending on what you are searching for but there are more affordable pieces available as well.
